SAN ANTONIO (March 16, 2016) – VIA Metropolitan Transit will offer Special Event Park & Ride service to and from many Fiesta events scheduled for April 15-23, 2016.

Alamo Heights Night (University of the Incarnate Word)

The fare is $2.50 each way with discounted fares available for children, seniors, students, and active-duty military in uniform or with a VIA Reduced Fare ID. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Park & Ride locations. VIAtrans customers and children under age 5 ride free. VIA bus passes are not valid for this service.

VIAtrans service will also be available to Fiesta for registered patrons. The usual VIAtrans reservation policies apply.

As a special promotion, Oyster Bake organizers are offering free soft drinks to VIA’s Special Event Service customers. Any person who rides the Special Event Service to St. Mary’s University on April 15 and 16, will receive a coupon for one free soft drink at Oyster Bake.
