SAN ANTONIO (June 24, 2016) — Tickets for VIAtrans, VIA Metropolitan Transit’s paratransit service for riders with disabilities, are now available at most H-E-B stores, providing added convenience and expanded access to public transportation options.

VIA provides safe and efficient public transportation to 4,000 paratransit customers daily, helping riders make connections throughout the community.

“VIA is happy to partner with H-E-B to expand ticket sales for paratransit services for the thousands of riders who utilize VIAtrans to meet their daily needs, preserve their independence, and connect with critical services in the community,” said VIA President/CEO Jeffrey C. Arndt. “This exciting new partnership helps VIA promote access to opportunity for all in the communities we serve.”

VIAtrans tickets purchased at H-E-B and online at VIAinfo.net are sold in books of 10 for $20. Single tickets are available at any VIA Information Center.
