SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 11, 2017) – VIA Metropolitan Transit is proud to partner with H-E-B to provide complimentary transportation for anyone who wishes to attend the Feast of Sharing at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017. The event will be held in Exhibit Halls 1 and 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The transportation, provided courtesy of event organizers, includes all mainline bus service, as well as VIAtrans service for registered patrons. When boarding, passengers who inform the operator that they are attending the Feast of Sharing will ride without paying a fare. Registered VIAtrans customers should schedule their trip in accordance with VIAtrans policies and procedures. Guests will be dropped off and picked up at 900 E. Market St., in front of the Convention Center. Riders who would like additional information regarding routes and scheduling on the day of the event may call (210) 362-2020.

Last year, almost 1,500 community members took advantage of the complimentary service to H-E-B’s Feast of Sharing. Since 2002, VIA and H-E-B have partnered to help ensure transportation is provided to this beloved holiday event where attendees enjoy a delicious meal, fellowship, music, arts and crafts, family-friendly activities, and even an appearance by a very special guest, Santa Claus.
