VIA Park & Ride available to Hemisfair Celebration April 6-8
SAN ANTONIO (March 20, 2018) — VIA Metropolitan Transit will run convenient Park & Ride Special Event Service to the ¡VIVA Hemisfair! 50th Anniversary Celebration at Hemisfair, April 6 – 8, 2018. The affordable and easy-to-use service will run all three days of the celebration from Crossroads Park & Ride, 151 Crossroads Blvd., and Madla Park & Ride, 1584 Cantrell Drive.
Park & Ride Special Event Service will be available from both locations during the following times:
• Friday, April 6, 4:30 – 10:30 p.m.
• Saturday, April 7, 11:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
• Sunday, April 8, 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Drop-off and pick-up location: Market Street, in the Convention Way Drive.
Special Event Park & Ride Service fare is only $2.50 each way with discounted fares available for children, seniors, students, and active-duty military. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Park & Ride locations. Customers may also conveniently pre-purchase tickets on the free VIA goMobile app. VIAtrans customers and children under age 5 ride free. VIA bus passes are not valid for Special Event Park & Ride Service.
