VIA Park & Ride available to many Fiesta events April 20-28
SAN ANTONIO (March 29, 2018) – VIA Metropolitan Transit is proud to continue the tradition of providing convenient and affordable Park & Ride Special Event Service to and from many Fiesta events April 20-28, 2018. Details of the service provided can be found on VIA’s Park & Ride, Events page.
The fare is $2.50 each way with discounts available for children, seniors, students, and active-duty members of the military. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Park & Ride locations. VIAtrans customers and children under age 5 ride free. VIA bus passes are not valid for this service.
VIAtrans service will also be available to Fiesta for registered patrons. The usual VIAtrans reservation policies apply.
As a special promotion, organizers of the Oyster Bake and A Taste of New Orleans are offering free soft drinks to VIA’s Special Event Service customers. Any person who rides the Special Event Service to St. Mary’s University or the Sunken Garden Theater for these events will receive a coupon for one free soft drink, while supplies last.
