Route changes and stop closures in the Downtown San Antonio area due to major construction in the area which begun June 25, 2018 and will continue for up to two years. The City of San Antonio’s street improvements project will affect travel on Commerce Street between North Santa Rosa Avenue and North St. Mary’s Street. Lane closures will also occur on Buena Vista Street/Dolorosa and West Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard between South Santa Rosa Avenue and South Frio Street. VIA service will be detoured to alternate routes during this time. A map of expected changes is provided below.

Detours to the following routes went into effect June 25:
2, 3, 9, 10, 17, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 34, 42, 51, 70, 75, 77, 82, 88, 93, 94, and 100.
