Jazz'SAlive is back.
The yearly jazz festival sponsored by the San Antonio Parks Foundation and the City of San Antonio will be held in Travis Park once again. It's a free two-day event showcasing the talents of local, regional, and national jazz figures, and its popularity will lead to the closures of Navarro Street, Pecan Street, and Jefferson Street where they pass the park.
Since many bus routes stop at Travis Park, VIA will operate detours from Saturday, September 19 through 6:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21. The detours will follow these routings:
Lines 3, 4, 5, 8, 90, 91, 92, 96, and 97 From Navarro and Travis: Left on Travis (watch for temporary stop) Right on Soledad Right on Pecan Left on Navarro Continue regular route
Lines 2, 82, and 88 From Navarro and Travis: Left on Travis (watch for temporary stop) Right on Soledad Right on Pecan Left on Navarro Left on Martin Continue regular route
Lines 6 and 14 From Navarro and Travis: Right on Travis Left on Broadway Continue regular route
Lines 9 and 10 From Pecan and St. Mary's: Right on St. Mary's Left on Travis Left on Broadway Continue regular route
