Congressman Ciro Rodriguez (U.S. House of Representatives, District 23) will be at VIA on Saturday, October 17 to announce the federal government's granting of $5 million to VIA to pay for electric buses. (Read more about the grant here.)
Congressman Rodriguez will be joined at a press conference by the chairman of the VIA Board of Trustees, Henry R. Muñoz III, as well as the president and CEO of VIA, Keith T. Parker, to make the announcement. The event will take place in the parking lot of VIA's Administration Building at 800 West Myrtle beginning at 10:00 a.m.
