New call service for VIAtrans patrons  Contact us about this...

VIA is introducing a new service for registered VIAtrans patrons to help them prepare for trips and avoid late-cancellation or no-show penalties.
Dubbed “VIAcall”, this service will provide telephone messages for VIAtrans customers with scheduled trips. Every evening, customers who have one or more trips scheduled for the next day will get a call reminding them of their trips. Then, when a van is actually on the way for a pick-up, customers will get another call so they can be ready when the van arrives.
VIAcall reminder messages will be delivered to the patrons’ home telephone numbers while van-arrival messages will be delivered to mobile phone numbers. In order for this system to work adequately, current telephone numbers need to be on file, so VIAtrans patrons should ensure that their information with VIA is up to date.
The VIAcall service begins Sunday, August 8. If you or anyone you know needs more information about this service, check out the frequently-asked-questions page.
