Rider Alert / Passenger Notice

Beginning January 14, 2013 the City of San Antonio will begin a street and drainage project on Hildebrand Avenue between U.S. Highway 281 and New Braunfels Avenue. During this project, which is expected to last 18 months, all traffic on Hildebrand will be one way going east from the San Antonio River to New Braunfels Avenue.

Before the actual construction begins on January 14, though, the city will close Hildebrand completely between U.S. 281 and Broadway beginning Friday evening, January 11 and running through Sunday, January 13.

These closures will result in extensive detours for routes 7, 8, and 509, both for the weekend of January 11-13 and for the duration of the project. A list of these detours by route and direction of travel is included below:

Outbound, from January 11 at 8:00 p.m. through January 14 at 5:00 a.m.
