The public meetings will follow a workshop format to explain and receive comments on the proposed stations and terminals for bus rapid transit, or BRT, along Fredericksburg Road. Each workshop will consist of an open house with exhibits on display, a short presentation, and breakout sessions to discuss the proposals and gather input from the participants.
All of the meeting locations are accessible by wheelchair. People who are deaf or hard of hearing may request an interpreter 48 hours prior to the meeting by calling TDD 362-2019 or the Public Affairs office at 362-2370.
More information on the BRT project can be found on www.viabrt.net or by calling VIA at 362-2222. VIA staff members are also available to present the BRT proposal to neighborhood and community organization meetings. Interested parties should call VIA’s Public Affairs office at 362-2370 to schedule a presentation.
