Citizen's Advisory Council

The Citizen's Advisory Council(CAC) was established by the VIA Board of Trustees to create an information exchange forum for VIA to work with community representatives on transit related issues. Meetings with the CAC are held monthly.

The CAC is composed of up to 31 volunteer representatives nominated by the VIA Board of Trustees, the San Antonio City Council, the Bexar County Commissioners Court and the Greater Bexar County Council of Cities. The Chair of the CAC is appointed by the VIA Board of Trustees. Members of the CAC serve for a minimum term of two years.

The Citizen's Advisory Council is currently chaired by Mr. Bill Martin. Humberto Ramirez serves as CAC Vice Chair.
