Option 1: Park & Ride

Transportation to the game at the Alamodome will be provided from Crossroads Park & Ride, Blossom Athletic Center and Madla Transit Center. Service will begin at 5:30 p.m., kickoff is at 8:00 p.m. Return service will be available every 30 minutes throughout the game and will run for 45 minutes after the official end of the game.

Special event tokens cost $2.50 each way ($5 round trip), $1.25 each way for children ages 5-11 as well as senior citizens 62 years and older, Medicare recipients, persons with disabilities, and students with a valid VIA Reduced Fare I.D. Children ages 4 and under ride free when accompanied by an adult. VIA daily, monthly and semester bus passes ARE NOT valid for special event service.

Special event tokens may be purchased in advance at the VIA Online Store or at all VIA Information Centers. While we suggest buying the tokens in advance, tokens will also be available the day of the game at the park and ride.

Option 2: Downtown Service

VIA’s Yellow streetcar route and special Alamodome shuttle (see brochure) can take visitors and locals to the game from downtown parking areas and hotels. Football fans can expect service at each stop every 10-15 minutes. Look for the Yellow streetcar stops and stops displaying “Alamodome shuttle” signage. Though VIA’s downtown streetcars are easy to identify, sometimes regular transit buses are used on the streetcar routes. At these times the color name of the route (“Yellow Route,” “Blue Route,” or “Red Route”) will be clearly displayed on the destination signs.

In addition, several local VIA bus routes can get you to the downtown area within walking distance of the Alamodome. To see what bus routes might work for you get directions by transit at maps.google.com.

The cost of the Yellow Streetcar route is $1.10 each way. VIA daily, monthly and semester bus passes ARE valid for all regular VIA bus service.

Yellow Streetcar Hours

7 a.m. – 12:30a.m.

Alamodome Shuttle Hours

Service will start at 5:30 p.m. and will continue for 45 minutes after the conclusion of the game.

Passengers may bring drinks on the bus but they must be in sealable containers. Food items and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
