VIA services to the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl

Option 1: Park & Ride
Transportation to the game at the Alamodome will be provided from Crossroads Park & Ride located near the intersection of IH-10 and Loop 410. Service will begin three
hours before kickoff. The last returning bus will depart from the Alamodome 45 minutes
after the official end of the game.
Special event tokens cost $2.50 each way ($5 round trip), $1.25 each way for children
ages 5-11 as well as senior citizens 62 years and older, Medicare recipients, persons
with disabilities, and students with a valid VIA Reduced Fare I.D. Children ages
4 and under ride free when accompanied by an adult. VIA daily, monthly and semester bus passes ARE
NOT valid for special event service.
Special event tokens may be purchased in advance at the VIA Online Store or at all VIA Information
Centers. While we suggest buying the tokens in advance, tokens will also be available the day of the game at the park and ride.
Option 2: Regular VIA bus service
VIA’s downtown Yellow Streetcar route provides service to the Alamodome. The Yellow
route circulates through the downtown area and comes by each stop approximately
every ten minutes.
In addition, several local VIA bus routes can get you to the downtown area within
walking distance of the Alamodome. To see what bus routes might work for you get
directions by transit at maps.google.com.
The cost of the Yellow Streetcar route is $1.10 each way. VIA daily, monthly and semester bus passes ARE valid for all regular VIA bus service.
Passengers may bring drinks on the bus but they must be in sealable containers.
Food items and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
