Luminaria At HemisFair Park

Park & ride service will be offered from Crossroads Park & Ride and Madla Transit Center to Luminaria. VIA will drop off and pick up riders at the Robert Thompson Transit Center by the Alamodome. Park & Ride Service will operate from 5:30 pm to 1:30 am.
 
The park and ride fare is $2.50 each way (total of $5.00 roundtrip) with a discount fare available to children, seniors, Medicare recipients, and students. VIAtrans customers and children under five years of age ride free. VIA’s passes are not valid for this service.

Downtown Yellow Streetcar Route

VIA’s Yellow streetcar route can also take you to Luminaria from downtown parking areas and hotels. The Yellow streetcar comes by each stop every 10-15 minutes. Though VIA’s downtown streetcars are easy to identify, sometimes regular transit buses are used on the streetcar routes. At these times the name of the route (“Yellow Route”) will be clearly displayed on the destination signs. For Luminaria the Yellow streetcar will operate until 1:30 am.

The cost of the Yellow Streertcar route is $1.10 each way with a discount fare available to children, seniors, Medicare recipients, and students. VIAtrans customers and children under five years of age ride free. VIA’s passes are valid for streetcar service. Please have exact fare ready as the bus operators do not provide change.
