SAN ANTONIO (May 12, 2016) — VIA Metropolitan Transit is proud to work with Advanced Dental Associates (ADA) as they sponsor complimentary bus rides for local residents to and from the “Free Dental Clinic” on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the ADA offices, 16131 Nacogdoches Road.

The sponsored service applies to trips on VIA’s regular bus lines. When boarding, riders need only inform the bus operator that they are attending the Free Dental Clinic in order to ride without charge.

“VIA is committed to the overall health and well-being of our community,” said VIA President/CEO Jeff Arndt. “We are proud to work with Advanced Dental Associates to provide transportation options as part of this community health initiative.”

ADA’s Free Dental Clinic is a volunteer effort and part of the Dentistry from the Heart program, in which dentists across the country offer a day of free dental care for the underinsured or uninsured. Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis with the first 200 patients guaranteed to be seen. The Free Dental Clinic begins at 7:30 a.m.
