SAN ANTONIO (Aug. 24, 2016) – VIA Metropolitan Transit’s proposed operating budgets for Fiscal Year 2016-17 are available to for public comment, beginning Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016.

The draft budget can be viewed online. The documents are also available upon request from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, at VIA’s Marketing & Promotions office at The Grand, 123 N. Medina St.

A public hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at the VIA Metro Center, 1021 San Pedro Ave. The VIA Metro Center is served by routes 3 and 4. The public hearing will include a presentation and a public comment period. Anyone wishing to offer comments at the meeting will be required to sign up in person before the public comment period begins.

Comments may also be submitted online using the online comment form. Online comments will be accepted through midnight on Sept. 7, 2016. Written comments may be submitted by mail and postmarked by Sept. 7, 2016 to: VIA Metropolitan Transit, Customer Service, 1021 San Pedro Ave., San Antonio, TX 78212.
