SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 19, 2016) – The top high school football players in the city and the nation will meet in the Alamodome Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl and the San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game Presented by H-E-B, and VIA Metropolitan Transit’s Special Event Park & Ride Service will provide convenient and affordable service to and from both games.

Park & Ride Service to the Alamodome will be provided from the Crossroads Park & Ride beginning at 10 a.m., and it will continue operating until one hour after the All-Star Game ends. The U.S. Army All-American Bowl begins at noon, and the All-Star Game begins at 5 p.m.

Park & Ride Service is $2.50 each way, with discounts available for children, seniors, students, and active-duty military members in uniform or with a VIA Reduced Fare ID. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Park & Ride location. VIAtrans customers and children under age 5 ride free. VIA bus passes are not valid for this service. A current student ID is required to receive the student rate.

In addition to the Park & Ride Service, VIA Primo (100) and VIVA centro (301) will be detoured to serve the Robert Thompson Transit Station at the Alamodome, beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing for one hour after the second game. The regular bus fare of $1.30 will apply. VIA bus passes will be accepted for trips on Primo and VIVA.
