Centro Plaza Space for Lease

VIA Metropolitan Transit is marketing space for lease at Centro Plaza; 909 W. Houston St., San Antonio, TX 78207. The vacant space is in a standalone building measuring approximately 4,089 square feet and has an HVAC system, lighting and fire sprinklers in place. Electrical and plumbing will need to be finished inside the space along with additional tenant improvements.

VIA’s interest is to lease the space to a User that enhances the space, Centro Plaza and the surrounding neighborhood. Potential Tenants can range from, but are not limited to: a restaurant, retailer, sundry shop, community or civic focused organization.

VIA’s Centro Plaza is located in San Antonio’s historic Cattleman Square District. Centro Plaza is one of VIA’s most active Transit Centers occupying an entire city block along Houston, Medina, Travis and Frio Streets. Centro Plaza was completed in November 2015 and serves 17 bus routes with daily average on and off boardings of approximately 7,000 riders.

This site is uniquely designed with amenities and sustainability in mind. It consists of sleek, metallic gray materials that line the plaza seamlessly into an 85-foot tall “Centro Chroma Tower”, designed by internationally renowned artist Bill Fitzgibbons, with column lighting changing colors at night. The canopy is partially covered with solar panels and the plaza captures rain water directing it to the center in sub-surface storage cisterns. The plaza also is furnished with tables and chairs for outdoor activities and events. Additionally, Wi-Fi is available throughout the plaza and will be available to be used by the patrons of the tenant.

The surrounding neighborhood includes VIA’s corporate headquarters, proximity to UTSA-downtown campus, University Health System and Bexar County Appraisal District.
