Yes. Customers can bring their luggage on the bus. Many of the Express buses have small luggage racks. Please use caution and keep aisle clear of obstructions including luggage.
Parking is free at the Stone Oak Park & Ride. The cost to ride the Route 7 Express bus is $2.60 each way. Passes are available and there are also discounts for seniors, students, children and others. We recommend buying passes in advance using the VIA goMobile+ app. More Details
Absolutely. All VIA passes are valid on Route 7 Express. We recommend using the VIA goMobile+ app to buy your pass in advance. Then just activate your ticket just before boarding.
Route 5 serves the airport hourly from approximately 5am to 10:30 pm every day. Service hours vary a on weekends. See Route 5 Schedule
The pickup and drop off location at the airport is located on the lower level just outside the baggage claim area in Terminal B. It is in the outside lane where other rideshare services operate.
Route 7 will run directly from Stone Oak Park & Ride to the airport. From the airport, the route will go directly to the downtown area and then on to the Brooks Transit Center. The route will operate Monday through Friday every 30 minutes from 5:45am to 7:00 pm. From Stone Oak to the airport, it is expected to take about 15 minutes and from the airport to downtown about 20 minutes. VIA offers free, secured parking at the Stone Oak Park & Ride.
Yes. VIA’s ART line is in design and will run from the airport down San Pedro to downtown and continue south of town. ART is expected to open in 2027.
