When it comes to helping college students get around town, VIA is acing the test with the amazing U-PASS! U-Pass is a special rider program available through partnerships with colleges and universities that provides unlimited bus rides on all regular VIA service, Prímo, VIA Express, Park & Ride Events, and VIA Link, FREE each semester.

All current students, faculty, and staff.
Get Your Pass
The U-Pass is available by downloading the VIA goMobile+ app onto your smart phone and creating an account using the email address associated with your university. Once signed in, your U-PASS will automatically show up within minutes.
An alternate option is to get a U-Pass sticker, which is adhered to an active school ID and presented to the operator when boarding. The sticker is available at the Campus Services Office.
Alamo Colleges
Eligibility
All current students, faculty, and staff.
Get Your Pass
The U-Pass is available by downloading the VIA goMobile+ app onto your smart phone and creating an account using the email address associated with your university. Once signed in, your U-Pass will automatically show up within minutes. Eligible students, faculty or staff who do not have access to a smart device, can simply show an Alamo Colleges ID to the bus operator when boarding.
Texas A&M University San Antonio
Eligibility
Current undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff.
Get Your Pass
Your TAMUSA ID is your U-Pass. When boarding the bus or VIA Link service, just show your current TAMUSA ID to the operator.
Southern Careers Institute
Eligibility
Current students, faculty and staff.
Get Your Pass
When boarding the bus or VIA Link service, just show your current Southern Careers Institute ID with a current U-Pass sticker to the operator. Sticker is picked up at Financial Aid Director’s office.
