FREQUENCY IMPROVEMENTS
EFFECTIVE MAY 4, 2026
Route 21 - Kirby/Ventura
Service Change:
• Increase frequency from 30 minutes to 20 minutes, weekdays; and from 60 minutes to 30 minutes, weekends.

Service Change:
• Increase frequency from 60 minutes to 30 minutes, weekdays.
FREQUENCY IMPROVEMENTS & ROUTE REALIGNMENTS
EFFECTIVE MAY 4, 2026
Route 24 - East Houston
Service Change:
• Increase frequency to 15 minutes between Centro Plaza and the Frost Bank Center.
• New branch from Frost Bank Center to East Houston & Lynhaven
Route 46 - Commercial
Service Change:
• Increase frequency from 60 minutes to 30 minutes, weekdays.
• Expand span of service to 12:30 a.m., 60-minute frequency;
• Extend route to Palo Alto College and Madla Transit Center
Route 77 - Martin/Las Palmas
Service Change:
▪ Frequency improves from 60 minutes
to 20-minutes on weekdays and to 30-
minutes on weekends
▪ Route is realigned at Martin & 19th
Street to serve 19th street, Castroville
Road to Las Palmas Shopping Center
▪ Span of service expansion from 9:50
p.m. to 12:30 a.m., seven days a week
▪ Route continues as Route 2 Blanco
downtown
Route 79 - Ruiz/Culebra Park
Service Change:
▪ Frequency improves from 60 minutes to 30-minutes, seven days a week
▪ Replaces service on route 77 Martin
west of General McMullen
▪ New transit service on West Commerce and Callaghan Road between Culebra
Road and Commerce Street
▪ Span of service expansion from 10 p.m.to 12:30 a.m., seven days a week
Route 503 - Huebner
Service Change:
• Increase frequency from 60 minutes to 30 minutes, weekdays.
• Realigned from Blanco and Loop 1604 to Stone Oak Park & Ride via Blanco, Huebner, Stone Oak Parkway, Sonterra Boulevard and US 281 Access Road
Route 524 - General McMullen
Service Change:
• Increase frequency from 30 minutes to 20 minutes, weekends only.
• Expand span of service to 12:30 a.m., 60- minute frequency.
• Realign to Madla Transit Center via SW Military Drive.
Route 602 - Medical Center/Blossom
Service Change:
• Increase frequency from 60 minutes to 30 minutes, weekends only.
• Realigned to continue on West Avenue, Bitters Road, and end at Blossom Athletic Center
Route 615 - Kel-Lac/Heritage Park
Service Change:
• Increase frequency from 60 minutes to 30 minutes, weekdays.
• Realigned to service Walmart on S. Ellison and Marbach, then continue on regular route.

Route 34 - South St. Mary’s
Service Change:
• Minor realignment downtown to facilitate interline with Route 21.

Service Change:
▪ Realigned to remove branch to
281/1604. All trips terminate at Sir
Winston and Parliament.
▪ Slight Realignment downtown to
facilitate pairing with Route 77.
▪ Span of service expansion from 9:40
p.m. to 12:30 a.m., seven days a week
Route 07 - US 281 Stone Oak Express
Service Change:
• Realign route to serve Stone Oak Park & Ride, airport, and downtown only.
• Span of service expanded to 11 p.m. on weekdays.
• New weekend service, 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 30-minute frequency.
ROUTE RETIREMENTS
EFFECTIVE MAY 4, 2026
Route 202 - (2 Blanco Lineup)
Service Change:
• Retire Route.
• Replaced by proposed Route 506.
Route 246 - (46 Commercial Lineup)
Service Change:
• Retire Route.
• Replaced by proposed Route 46.
Route 277 - (77 Martin/79 Ruiz Lineup)
Service Change:
• Retire Route.
• Replaced by proposed Route 78.
NEW ROUTES

Route 78 - Ruiz/Culebra Park
Service Change:
• New route with 30-minute frequency from 5 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. 7 days a week.
Route 92 - Brooks/Medical Center Express
Service Change:
• New route, 30-minute frequency.
• Weekday peaks only from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Route 506 - Blanco/Las Palmas
Service Change:
• New route with 20-minute frequency on weekdays.
• 30-frequency on weekends.
• Service from 4 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., 7 days a week.
Route 649 - North Star/Stone Oak
Service Change:
• New route with 30-minute frequency.
• Service from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p,m., 7 days a week.
