Ready to try transit? Welcome aboard!

We’ll help you get started in five easy steps using the VIA goMobile app. If you prefer not to use the app, jump to the How to Ride section for assistance.

5 Easy Steps for mobile-first riders + Have you downloaded the app?
Step 1 - Plan your trip - Select “Trip Planner” from the goMobile app menu. Enter your start and end point 
and choose your route. + Make it personal. Customize departure or arrival times and use ‘options’ to sort by best route.
Step 2 - Buy your ticket. On the app buy a Day Pass for $2.75 - This ticket covers every route and unlimited transfers. + Save money. Fares are half-price for veterans, students, and those with disabilities.
Step 3 - Go to your bus stop. Use the trip planner to get to your starting point. Match the 5-digit stop ID with what's on your smartphone. + Double-check your stop! Zoom in on the map to see whether you might need to cross the road.
Step 4 - Board the right bus. Match the 1- to 3-digit route number on your phone to the approaching bus. - Activate your mobile ticket and show it to the operator. + Traveling with a group? Purchase multiple passes and show tickets from a single VIA goMobile app.
Step 5 - Get off at your stop. When your stop is next, alert the operator by pulling the cable or pushing the rubber strip near window. Operators will pass the stop if not alerted. - Think ahead. Check the estimated arrival time for your stop on the trip planner.
