SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 14, 2017) — Ring in the new year and celebrate the San Antonio Tricentennial with VIA Metropolitan Transit. VIA will offer convenient and affordable Special Event Park & Ride Service to the Tricentennial Celebrate 300 event Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017, in Downtown San Antonio.
New Year’s Eve Park & Ride Service will be available from Crossroads Park & Ride, 151 Crossroads Blvd., and Madla Park & Ride, 1584 Cantrell Drive. Service to the Tricentennial celebration begins at 3:30 p.m., and return service will continue until 1 a.m. Monday, Jan. 1, 2018.
Special Event Park & Ride Service fare is only $2.50 each way with discounted fares available for children, seniors, students, and active-duty military. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Park & Ride locations. Customers may also conveniently pre-purchase tickets on the free VIA goMobile app. VIAtrans customers and children under age 5 ride free. VIA bus passes are not valid for Special Event Park & Ride Service.
VIA is the Official Transportation Partner of the San Antonio Tricentennial Celebration.
