Want to take a quick bus ride to lunch or a cup of coffee?  This app makes it easy to plan a ride based on your food and price preferences.  The Quick Trips app was developed by winners of VIA’s 2018 Codeathon.


Offers a Personal Transit Assistant feature that provides a step-by-step guide to destinations, nearby stops and more.

Allows riders to compare and combine VIA’s transit options with others modes of transportation such as ride share and bike share, and even syncs to your calendar to plan your trip.

The transit coverage of Apple Maps navigation app now provides transit information – including complete VIA routes and stops – in San Antonio.

Google Maps offers satellite imagery, street maps, 360° panoramic views of streets (Street View), real-time traffic conditions (Google Traffic), and route planning for traveling by public transportation.

Next-bus Arrivals

VIA riders can now get real-time bus arrival information delivered to their cell phones (message and data rates may apply), computers or other mobile devices. The information sent to riders will be based on the real time status of their bus not just the printed bus schedule times. Read More.
