Service Changes Affected Schedules Public Meetings Get Updates

SERVICE CHANGES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 9, 2023

Service Changes to multiple VIA routes are scheduled to go into effect Jan. 9, 2023, and are listed below.

The Transit app (IOS or Android), Google maps (IOS or Android) and 52020 Next Bus texting service will reflect changes beginning Jan. 9, 2023.

296 Vance Jackson/West Ave. Lineup		Construction on Fredericksburg Road is delayed and Routes will remain on detour until work is complete in mid-January.

14 Perrin Beitel Skip
502 Thousand Oaks		Work on the upgraded Naco Pass Mobility Hub is still ongoing, therefore it will not open on January 9 as planned.
The new schedules for Routes 9, 14 and 502 starting January 9 will be followed except detour to the current temporary hub on Naco Perrin Boulevard just west of Perrin Beitel.
Jan. 9, 202321 Kirby/ConverseFrequency will be improved from every 60 minutes to every 30 minutes during the peak hours in the morning and afternoon.
Jan. 9, 202342 RooseveltWill be extended to Navistar Manufacturing for one trip in the morning and one trip in the afternoon.
Jan. 9, 202364 US 90 Express Will return to Loop 410 following a construction detour and the schedule will be adjusted to improve reliability.

251 Nogalitos St. Lineup		Will be modified at Bynum Avenue due to long-term construction.
Jan. 9, 2023603 Medical Center/UTSAWill continue as Route 604 at the Medical Center Transit Center.
Jan. 9, 2023604 Medical Center/University ParkWill continue as Route 603 at the Medical Center Transit Center.
Jan. 9, 2023611 Valley-Hi/Kel-LacWill be modified from Old Valley Hi Drive to Valley Hi Drive.
Jan. 9, 2023651 Deco District/Castle HillsWill be modified to travel from Neer Avenue to El Monte Boulevard, Catalina Avenue, Olympia Drive, Warner Avenue, resuming current route on Mariposa Drive. There will be no schedule change.

The schedules of the following route will have minor adjustments
