Job Fair offers opportunities in various areas 

VIA Metropolitan Transit will host a Hiring Event, looking to fill the following positions:

♦ Bus operators

Job applicants should complete the following:

♦ Online application prior to event
♦ Arrive no earlier than posted time.

VIA is offering hiring incentives of up to $4,000 for bus operators.

Starting hourly wage for full-time bus operators is $22.45, which increases to more than $24 by the 12th month of service.

Bus operators receive uniform allowances.

Paid training is provided for new operator hires with classes starting weekly. Applicants must meet the following criteria to apply for bus operator openings:

♦ 21 years or older
♦ Valid Texas driver’s license
♦ Three (3) years of experience driving a vehicle
