SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 1, 2016) – VIA Metropolitan Transit will operate special event park & ride service to the Asian Festival at the Institute of Texas Cultures, 801 E. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd., on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016.

VIA’s park & ride service to the Asian Festival will be offered from the Crossroads Park and Ride, 151 Crossroads Blvd. Service will begin at 9:15 a.m. and will run until 5:30 p.m.

The fare is $2.50 each way with discounted fares available for children, seniors, students, and active-duty military members in uniform or with a VIA Reduced Fare ID. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the park & ride location. VIAtrans customers and children under five ride free. VIA bus passes are not valid for this service.

The Asian Festival is a family-friendly event that features music, cultural performances, food, fashion, crafts and other products. Guests can enjoy authentic Asian-American cuisine from 15 vendors, offering Japanese, Korean, Thai, Laotian, Philippine and other delectable choices.
