SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 15, 2017) – VIA Metropolitan Transit will host a public workshop and an online meeting to receive added input on the Rapid Transit Corridor (RTC) studies. Comments received in previous workshops have assisted VIA in the study of four corridors that could support rapid transit options in the future (East-West, Northwest, North-Central, and Southeast corridors), and now input is needed on three additional corridors across the region.

The public workshop is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017 in the Barshop Auditorium at Temple Beth-El, 211 Belknap Place, and the online meeting can be accessed at VIAVision2040.com anytime Nov. 16 – Dec. 13, 2017.

Comments may be submitted at the public workshop, online or in writing through Dec. 13, 2017. Written comments may be mailed to Attention: Government & Community Relations – RTC Studies, c/o VIA Metropolitan Transit, P.O. Box 12489, San Antonio, Texas 78212, or by email at [email protected].

The meeting facility is wheelchair accessible. Persons with hearing impairments may request an interpreter 48 hours prior to the meeting by calling TDD (210) 362-2019 or by calling VIA Government & Community Relations at (210) 362-2389.
