Video shows mom helping shape future public transit riders
The latest in the “VIA Moves Me” video series follows Trinity University professor Heather Haynes-Smith and her three-year-old son, A.J.
By exploring San Antonio on a weekly basis riding VIA, Haynes-Smith is teaching her son all about public transit. Whether it’s a trip to the San Antonio Zoo, the DoSeum, or dowtown, A.J. is learning about bus routes, developing friendships with VIA operators, and in the process is learning numbers and letters based on the routes of the buses.
