VIA Metropolitan Transit will hold two public meetings to discuss proposed service revisions scheduled to take effect August 2018. The changes are due to construction and road/lane closures within the Downtown area. The meetings take place on Thursday, May 31, and Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

The following street closures are planned:
W. Commerce St. – N. Santa Rosa St. to St. Mary’s; total closure for a month and then reduced to single lane
Dolorosa – S. Santa Rosa St. to S. Frio St.; intermittent lane closures for sidewalk construction
W. César E. Chávez Blvd. – S. Santa Rosa St. to S. Frio St.; intermittent lane closures for sidewalk construction
W. Houston St. – N. Santa Rosa St. to N. Flores St.
