UPDATE: Parade has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
On Saturday, September 15, 2018, the Diez y Seis de Septiembre Parade will proceed through the West Side and through the downtown area, and many VIA bus routes will be on detours for the duration of the event.
A detour affecting Route 66 Ceralvo Frequent will begin at 1:30 p.m. and be in effect until approximately 10:30 p.m. (See detour route).
Additional detours in the downtown area affecting 46 Commercial, 64 US 90 Express, 65 JBSA Express Lackland/USO, 66 Ceralvo Frequent, 67 Laredo, 68 Guadalupe Frequent, 79 Ruiz Frequent, and 94 IH-10 Fiesta Texas Express will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will continue until 10:30 p.m.
