VIA promotion offers fare-free trips on VIVA routes on Saturdays in October
VIA Metropolitan Transit announces the return of “Let’s VIVA Days” in celebration of Museum Month San Antonio, October 2018. For the second year, every Saturday in October is a fare-free day on all three VIVA routes as VIA, the official transportation partner for Museum Month, invites the public to support the many special events happening throughout the three VIVA corridors.
Fare-free days are October 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2018 on VIVA culture (11), VIVA missions (40), and VIVA centro (301). Download the free VIA goMobile app to plan a visit, or make it a full Saturday of exploring museums, cultural events, and the visual arts scene in the heart of San Antonio.
Through October, Museum Month partners are offering reciprocal general admission to members of participating arts organizations, as well as special events, exhibitions, and membership discounts for the public. Museum Month partners include Artpace, Blue Star Contemporary Arts Center, Briscoe Western Art Museum, the DoSeum, The McNay, San Antonio Art League & Museum, San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, San Antonio Museum of Art, Southwest School of Art, UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures, Villa Finale Museum & Gardens, and The Witte.
