VIA Metropolitan Transit and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce present “Nuestra Gente: A Tribute to Hispanic Innovators and Dreams,” a photo exhibit that will be on display at the Grand at VIA Villa, Sept. 27 through Oct. 11, 2018.
The show features 31 portraits of children as historical Hispanic figures such as Frida Kahlo, César E. Chávez, Selena, and Manu Ginobili. The visual presentation, curated by Bernadette Peña, celebrates and introduces audiences to Hispanic artists, writers, activists and civil servants that have had an impact on the American landscape.
The exhibit is free and open to the public at VIA’s The Grand at VIA Villa, 123 N. Medina St. The photographs can be viewed from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday-Friday.
