UPDATE: 8/29/2019; goCards Now Available at All Customer Service Centers
VIA is looking for a few riders to be the first to test the new reloadable goCard. In order to be a part of this first beta group you must be a VIA rider willing to provide us feedback on your goCard usage.
The VIA goCard is a new electronic reloadable fare card coming in 2019. With the goCard customers will be able to add value and passes to their card instead of carrying cash. It will be a great addition to VIA’s innovative goMobile ticketing app.
With the goCard there will be no more paper. No more fumbling for change. Just tap and go! Riders can pay for a bus or VIAtrans ride with a durable, reloadable smartcard. The goCard simplifies boarding without having to worry about carrying cash – just tap and go. And transferring is simple too – the goCard is programmed to automatically know when you are within the transfer window and charges accordingly.
