Round-trip fare to Alamodome only $5

VIA Metropolitan Transit will provide convenient and affordable Special Event Park & Ride Service for soccer fans attending the Mexico vs. Argentina Soccer Match, Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, in the Alamodome, 100 Montana St.

The friendly contest between the Mexican and Argentinian National Teams begins at 8:30 p.m. Special Event Service to the Alamodome will begin at 5:30 p.m. from Lots 6 and 7 at the AT&T Center, 1 AT&T Center Parkway, where riders can park for free and then board VIA’s special event service for only $2.50 each way with discounted fares for children, seniors, students, and active-duty military. Return service will continue until one hour after the game ends.

Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Park & Ride location. Customers can also conveniently pre-purchase tickets on their smartphones with the free VIA goMobile app. VIAtrans customers and children under age 5 ride free. VIA bus passes are not valid for special event service.

In addition to the special event service, VIA Prímo (100) and VIVA centro (301) will be on alternate routes to serve the Robert Thompson Transit Station at the Alamodome, beginning at 5:30 p.m. and continuing for one hour after the soccer match. The regular bus fare of $1.30 will apply. Unlimited Day Passes are available on the bus for $2.75. VIA bus passes will be accepted for trips on Prímo and VIVA.
