Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff writes in the latest “Rivard Report,” that a stronger economy, more choices about where we live, work and play, and a better overall quality of life are attainable if local residents act now to adequately fund our underfunded public transportation network.

“Sales tax is the only funding source for VIA. Dedicating the expiring one-eighth-cent tax would provide critical annual operating funds to enable VIA to provide a state-of-the-art transit system.” – Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff
