PUBLIC NOTICE
VIA is reimagining mobility with a plan designed to deliver a BETTER, FASTER, SMARTER service so that you can spend more time doing what you love. The VIA Reimagined Plan includes building a Better Bus System to improve frequency and reliability, and increase service on weekends. VIA increased the frequencies on several routes in 2019 and is proposing more service improvements to begin in May 2020.
VIA Metropolitan Transit is hosting public meetings to receive comments on the proposed service revisions scheduled for implementation on May 4, 2020. The meetings will take place as follows:

The following are the proposed service changes:
Route 7 Stone Oak Express will improve in frequency on weekdays from 30 minutes to 15 minutes between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Service will operate every 30 minutes from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Route 552 Loop 410 / WW White Skip will improve in frequency on weekdays from 20 and 30 minutes to every 15 minutes all day.
City of Sandy Oaks Mobility on Demand Service: On-demand service from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with trips to and from the Brooks Transit Center and the City of Sandy Oaks.
Other Propsed Route Changes
Minor schedule/route adjustments to Routes: 6, 7, 9, 10, 11. 14, and 21.
The following routes will have minor schedule changes: 8/67, 54/97, 82/95, 629, 630, 631, 632, and 672.
