VIA Encourages Public Participation and Comments about the Bold, New Transit Plan

VIA Metropolitan Transit has rescheduled its next telephone town hall and will host the event on Tuesday, March 31, to discuss the latest information about VIA Reimagined Plan — a 10-year road map designed to make public transit in our region better, faster, smarter and easier to use.

The event will be moderated by VIA Chief Strategic Officer Marisa Bono, with panelists VIA Board Chair Hope Andrade, and VIA President and CEO Jeff Arndt.

This is the second in a series of tele-town halls hosted by VIA  throughout the year to engage and inform the community about the benefits of the plan.

The monthly call-ins are part of VIA’s ongoing outreach to share information about projects designed to create a better bus system, build an advanced rapid transit network, and develop smart transit solutions. The tele-town halls also offer provide opportunities to get involved and share VIA Reimagined information through efforts that include upcoming events, group meetings, strategic partnerships, interactive online tools, and social media activity.

Anyone who wishes to participate in the Tele-Townhall can register at VIAReimagined.com. Participants will receive a notification on March 31 when it’s time to join the call. The presentation also will be available via Facebook Live at Facebook.com/VIATransit.
