In these times of change and uncertainty, it’s important to acknowledge that VIA service is rooted in strong values and principles that guide us in our mission to connect our community. For the past few months, as we have witnessed global events that have hit close to home, following the senseless killings of George Floyd and others. We have also seen an outpouring of care and support for our customers, our community, and each other as we work to keep San Antonio moving.
VIA President and CEO Jeffrey C. Arndt shared a personal message with VIA’s 2,200+ employees to state firmly that VIA stands with the Black Community. We stand for change, justice, equity, and assert that Black Lives Matter.
We’re sharing his message publicly because our mission includes connecting with our community through the values and principles that drive us to serve. It keeps us focused during times of tragedy and transformation—times like these.
