Service from Crossroads and AT&T Center for game against Golden State Jan. 13

The San Antonio Spurs will be “Back Home in the Dome” for the 50th anniversary game at the Alamodome against the Golden State Warriors, and fans can take advantage of VIA’s Park & Ride Service to avoid traffic and parking in the downtown area.

Service to the game on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, will operate from Crossroads Park & Ride and the AT&T Center beginning at 2:30 p.m., four hours before game time. Kiosk sales and bus service to the Alamodome will end at the game’s scheduled start time of 6:30 p.m. Fans can enjoy a DJ and live music at the AT&T Center and Crossroads from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Return service will run for one hour after the end of the post-game celebration fireworks display.

The fare for VIA’s service is $1.30 each way. Children who are 5-17, seniors, students and active-duty members of the U.S. military qualify for half-fares — $0.65 each way, or $1.30 round-trip. Children under the age of 5 and registered VIAtrans customers ride free.

Fares must be purchased before boarding. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Park & Ride location, and VIA passes are accepted for event service. Customers also can conveniently pre-purchase tickets on their smartphones with VIA’s goMobile+ app, available to download free on Apple and Android devices.

The game, billed as “Back Home at the Dome,” marks the first Spurs game at the Alamodome since 2002, as the franchise attempts to break the league’s all-time attendance record by filling the 65,000-seat stadium.

Pregame festivities include a light show and photo opportunities. San Antonio native and Fifth Harmony member, Ally Brooke, will sing the national anthem; and 1990s hip-hop duo Tag Team will perform its iconic hit single “Whoomp! There It Is,” as part of the halftime entertainment.  The post-game celebration on the North Plaza includes live music.
