Tele-town Hall - VIA Metropolitan Transit

Tele-Town Hall

What is a VIA tele-town hall?

A VIA tele-town hall is a virtual, interactive event that provides opportunities to connect directly with VIA. These events cover a range of topics, including VIA services, upcoming changes, system updates and other news relevant to riders and the broader community. Participants can ask questions and hear from VIA representatives in real time.

How to attend a tele-town hall?

There are two easy ways to participate:

1

Online

Watch the live video stream at below at the event start time. This option allows you to follow along visually from any device with internet access.

2

Phone

Register for an upcoming event to the right to join by phone. Registered participants will receive a callback just before the event begins, so you can listen and engage live without needing to dial in yourself.

3

Facebook Live

Follow VIA Metropolitan Transit on Facebook, set your notifications to alert you when VIA goes live, and watch the event from your digital device.

All options provide access to the same live event, so participants can choose whichever is most convenient.

Why does VIA host tele-town halls?

VIA is committed to keeping our community informed and making engagement as accessible as possible. Rather than asking participants to travel to a physical location, tele-town halls allow us to meet people where they are — whether at home, at work or on the go. This format helps us remove barriers to participation and create a more convenient way for community members to stay connected and have their voices heard.
