Clear bags provided to Special Event customers are compliant with NCAA bag policy

SAN ANTONIO (March 27, 2018) — Official NCAA clear bags will be available, while supplies last, to customers using VIA’s convenient Park & Ride Service to the 2018 NCAA March Madness Music Festival at Hemisfair, and Final Four Fan Fest at the Convention Center, March 30 to April 1, 2018.

The clear bags are compliant with the NCAA bag policy and free for VIA Park & Ride customers. Limited supplies will be available at Crossroads Park & Ride, Blossom Athletic Center, and Madla Park & Ride during the following times:
• 2-11 p.m., Friday, March 30
• Noon-11 p.m., Saturday, March 31
• 1-11 p.m., Sunday, April 1

Special Event Park & Ride Service fare is only $2.50 each way with discounted fares available for children, seniors, students, and active-duty military. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Park & Ride locations. Customers may also conveniently pre-purchase tickets on the free VIA goMobile app. VIAtrans customers and children under age 5 ride free. VIA bus passes are not valid for Special Event Park & Ride Service.
