VIA Metropolitan Transit will offer convenient and affordable service to the Great Texas Airshow on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, taking place at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph.
Park & Ride Service will be available from the Randolph Park & Ride, 9400 IH35-N. Service to JBSA-Randolph will begin at 8:30 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday, with kiosk sales and bus service to the event ending at 2:30 p.m. Return service will end at 6 p.m. each day.
Airshow fans riding to JBSA-Randolph pay just $1.30 each way with discounted fares for children, seniors, students, and active-duty U.S. military. Children under age 5 ride free. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Park & Ride location. VIA passes, including the VIA U-Pass, are accepted for event service.
