VIA Metropolitan Transit will offer convenient and affordable Park & Ride Service to Monster Jam on Saturday, Jan. 12, and Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019 in the Alamodome, 100 Montana St.
Park & Ride Service will be available from the Crossroads Park & Ride, 151 Crossroads Blvd. Service to the Alamodome begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, and at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 13. Return service on both days will continue until one hour after the event concludes.
VIA’s Park & Ride Service is only $2.50 each way with discounted fares for children, seniors, students, and active-duty military. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Park & Ride location. Customers can also conveniently pre-purchase tickets on their smartphones with the free VIA goMobile app. VIAtrans customers and children under age 5 ride free. VIA bus passes are not valid for Park & Ride Service.
In addition to the Park & Ride Service, VIA Prímo (100) and VIVA centro (301) will be on alternate routes to serve the Robert Thompson Transit Station at the Alamodome, beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, and at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 13 and continuing until one hour after each event concludes. The regular bus fare of $1.30 will apply. Unlimited Day Passes are available on the bus for $2.75. VIA bus passes will be accepted for trips on Prímo and VIVA.
